What is The Floor?

The Floor is a daily market game. You run a $100,000 virtual book through five decisions — and every one of them is a real, documented episode from market history: the March 2020 liquidity crunch, the SNB abandoning the franc peg, Wirecard, the gilt/LDI spiral, SVB.

Everyone on Earth gets the same five decisions each day, so this measures judgment rather than grind. Before each call resolves you choose how much of your book to risk — being right small can lose to being right big, exactly like real markets. A correct call pays 1.5× your stake; three right in a row and the hot hand pays 2×. Drop under $25,000 and you're margin-called.

After every decision you find out what actually happened, and why. That's the point — history is the answer key.
